Richard Simpson getting ready for Action Direct

British power Richard Simpson still has 3 weeks to go in Frankenjura, but I already managed Wall Street, 8c.

The purpose of this trip?!? Getting ready for Action Direct!

But let's listen what Rich has to say: "Since arriving in the Frankenjura three weeks ago a lot of things have been varied.
The weather has gone from being unbelievably hot and humid to torrential rain for the last 5 days and everything in-between, but one thing that has stayed the same is the amazing style of climbing the Frankenjura has to offer.
Never have I been to an area so physical, so intense yet so beautiful. The routes require so much effort and concentration but it soon becomes tranquillity again when you are lowered to the floor and stare out into the beautiful forests."

"Highlight of my trip so far has to be Wall Street 8c first opened by one of my heroes Wolfgang Gullich. This for me is another step towards my goal for this year the amazing Action Direct, and making some 2nd ascents of some of Markus Bock’s new routes which are very impressive lines.

I am already looking forward to my return in September where the conditions should be a lot better and I can finally put my time into attempting Action Directe properly and also sampling some more cakes and German beer, although I'm not too sure how those things will go hand in hand. "

What can we add...Good luck Rich!
