Hubble repeated by Richard Simpson!

PlanetFear.com reports that the British climber Richard Simpson climbed Hubble at Raven Tor (UK) this morning.

The world's first 8c+, established all those years ago (1990) by Ben Moon (read what Ben told us about Hubble) has only seen a hand full of ascents by Malcolm Smith, John Gaskins and Steve Dunning.

The weather in the Peak has been pretty good for the last few weeks, and Rich has been going well.

10 days ago he climbed Evolution, also at Raven Tor - 8c, Jerry Moffatt, 1995. He also onsighet Hot Flushes, 8a.

Rich climbed these routes with the aim of heading out to Germany soon and getting to grips with Action Direct.

Last year Richard also made the long awaited 3rd ascent of Jerry Moffat's Liquid Amber 8c in Wales (article here).
