Get your fingers stronger!

Finger strength is what sets good climbers apart from great climbers. Ultimately it is your fingers that keep you in contact with the rock and therefore they will be the limiting factor in what you can achieve. Neglect it at your peril. If you are going to buy one item of training equipment then make it a fingerboard .

While much in vogue in the '80s, figerboard training is still an effective and fast way to focus your training just on getting those fingers stronger!

Advantages of fingerborad training:
- fast: you are usually done in 1 hour
- specific: you will isolate the problem and concenntrate just on fingers
- fast improvements: usually you will see the results of your training quite quickly

So don't follow the training of the following video, get a fingerboard!
