Ines Papert: first female free ascent of the Camillotto Pellesier

On the 20th of July the German Ines Papert managed the first femal free ascent of the route Camillotto Pellesier on the north face of the Cima Grande di Lavaredo (Italy). The first ascent was doe by da E. Mauro e M. Minuzzo in 1967, while Mauro Bubu Bole managed the first free ascet in 2004, suggesting 8b.

Ines had already tried it in 2005, when, due to a bad fall, she had to renunce, but she kept her dream!

On the 20th of July 2006 she went back at the bottom of the wall: it took her 11 days of tries and checking before sending it, despite a crucial foothold broke!

Ines has suggested some retouch to the grading, suggesting 8a+ for the hardest pitch instead of 8b.
